It is essential to have proper dance shoes to facilitate the ease of your learning. We have a beautiful selection of hand made shoes from Argentina.

Our tango classes are organized into 6 Levels.
Level 1 – Tango Fundamentals 1
Level 2 – Tango Fundamentals 2 (pre-requisite Level 1)
Please note: Levels 1 and 2 each take 6 weeks to complete. It is strongly recommended and others have found it very useful to repeat levels 1 & 2 due to the difficulty of the dance and the amount of information presented in each level.
Students repeating a level immediately after taking it, can do so at half price.
Merely completing a level does not automatically promote one to the next level. Being competent in the material covered is essential.
Level 3 – Giros (Pre-requisite Level 2)
Level 4 – (Pre-requisite Level 3)
Part A – Close Embrace
Part B – Close Embrace / Navigation / Etiquette
Part C Musicality
Part D – Milonga
Please note: Level 4 consists of four different parts. Each part is a 6 week session. We alternate between parts A,B,C,D every 6 weeks. These four parts may be taken in any order. One does not have to start with Part A. All four parts must be completed before moving to Level 5 without exception 24 weeks all together
LEVEL 5 (pre-requisite level 4 - all 4 parts A,B,C,D)
Part A sacadas
Part B – ganchos
Part C – barridas
Part D – boleos
Part E – changes of direction
Please Note: Level 4 takes 30 weeks in total to complete (5 sessions of 6 weeks) Each 6 week session will be dedicated to one of the above 5 elements of tango.
Once one has completed all 5 parts you can repeat the same level for 1/2 price.
Please be honest with yourself. If you are struggling with any of the material it is best to repeat the level or book a private lesson to work on the problem areas.
LEVEL 6- (pre-requisite level 5- all 5 parts A,B,C,D,E)
In this level we will be combining all the elements together.
Milonga - where Argentine Tango is danced

Milonga is a term for a place or an event where tango is danced. People who frequently go to milongas are sometimes called milongueros. The term "milonga" can also refer to a musical genre.
The music played is mainly tango, vals, and milonga. Usually, three to four songs of the same kind are played in a row (this is called tanda) followed by a short musical break (called cortina) to clear the dance floor and facilitate partner changes.
